A quick reminder that the submission deadline for the SPIE Photonics West (17-22 January 2026, San Francisco, USA) conference on Optical Elastography and Tissue Biomechanics XIII is approaching in July -- see info below! There is also a conference on Photonic Technologies in Plant and Agricultural Science III that may be of interest to those working on plants.

 

  1. Several of you have been asking about abstract submission and registration for this years’ BioBrillouin Meeting (that has been moved to Berlin, Germany on November 25-27). You have not missed anything: detailed planning/organization is currently underway, and we are working on opening submissions asap. We will share with you as soon as ready in coming weeks and also post big on website (www.biobrillouin.org)!
