Change in location for BioBrillouin Meeting
Dear All, Given the current situation in the US (and particularly in Harvard) we have after extensive discussion with Andy Yun come to the conclusion that it is no longer feasible to have the next BioBrillouin meeting in Harvard, but rather to move it to Europe. This is painful as I for one was very much looking forward to going to Boston, and hopefully in future we can have there/in US. But I completely sympathize with situation on the ground there. This is just an alert. We will announce a new venue in Europe next week. We have at least 3 backup venues lined up that can host (so it will happen!!), and we just need to determine the most optimum now on short notice. So don’t cancel your plans to attend! We intend to announce location next week and have abstract submission open very soon thereafter. Apologies if you made any reservations. This was a bit unexpected as you can imagine (although slowly building) and beyond our control. When exactly to pull the rip-chord was debated and not clear, but latest developments have tipped the scales. I just quickly wanted to inform you asap now so you don’t make any bookings until next official announcement which will come next week. All the best, Kareem
