Dear Lucie and Pierre, many thanks for pushing this newsletter forward! There are 2-3 items I’d like to advertise: *) We have an open position: We’re currently seeking an intern or a master student for the duration of 6+months to work on on simulating, designing and potentially building a new Brillouin microscope. Please find our advertisement attached which you could link to. *) Our work describing a full-field Brillouin spectrometer got published in Nature Photonics: https://rdcu.be/eaDiX https://www.nature.com/articles/s41566-025-01619-y Also, we are in the final stages to put together a Brillouin microscopy course at EMBL in early 2026 - please don’t post the information yet, but remind me for the next newsletter. By that time I can hopefully confirm it and share more infos! BioBrillouin Newsletter Request Dear Robert, We hope you're doing well. We are Lucie and Pierre on behalf of the BioBrillouin Society, and we are currently preparing the March edition of the BioBrillouin newsletter. We would love to feature any updates you might have and are reaching out to ask if you have: • Any new articles or preprints published since October 1, 2024 • Open positions you would like us to advertise • Upcoming events relevant to the community • Any other news or updates you'd like to share If you have anything to include, we would greatly appreciate it if you could send us the details at your earliest convenience. Ultimately, could you let us know if you have received the last newsletter, and if it displayed correctly on your devices? Looking forward to your response! Best regards, Lucie Vovard & Pierre Bouvet The International BioBrillouin Society If you don't want to receive this email in the future, please let us know by answering this email.
