Dear Presenters at BioBrillouin 2025, A couple of notes about your upcoming presentations next week (some may be repeated from previous communications) You do not need to waste time presenting/explaining what Brillouin Light Scattering is. Everyone at conference hopefully knows. We have ~35 talks and ~30 posters, so hearing same explanation that many times in three days will drive us all crazy 😊. One purpose of starting these meetings back in 2016 was exactly to avoid this extended intro stuff and get straight to finer/technical/biological points. That said, ofcourse present basic formulas you use so we all know your nomenclature, and any non-standard/trivial things. Hopefully, this will allow you to cover more in your presentations (give you a few more minutes). If you have already finished/printed posters, do not worry (it is certainly not a big deal). A reminder to all speakers, to please check in at the latest in the break before your presentations at the podium. Also please have your presentation backed up on a USB stick or on easily accessible cloud link incase there are any difficulties (ideally in powerpoint and PDF format). You can present on your own laptop (if you have HDMI output) or a by us provided laptop. Speakers in the first session of each day should please show up at 8:45 of same day and mention they will be presenting in first session at registration desk (so we can troubleshoot any issues), or else check at podium the previous day (probably easier if not the first day). If for any reason this is not possible (due to late arrival) please email your presentation to Soc25(a)biobrillouin.org by noon on Monday so we can be sure to have ready on a computer. Poster Presentation Info for BioBrillouin 2025 Meeting

Dear Poster Presenters, The BioBrillouin Meeting is rapidly approaching, so we wanted to share some info on the poster session. The full list of posters and presenters can be found at: https://www.biobrillouin25.com/program (Abstracts and full author lists will be sent out prior to the meeting to all registered participants) How big should my poster be? Maximum A0 size. Please prepare your poster so that it fits on a vertical A0 sized poster wall. Where and when should/can I hang up my poster? Each poster is assigned a number (e.g. S1P1, S1P2, etc. -see website). The poster walls in the Planck Lobby (where the poster session will be) each also have a number. Hang your poster on the poster wall that has the same number as your poster. Please be sure your poster is up before 17:00 on the 25th November. You may use the time in the precluding coffee breaks or lunch break, or before meeting-begin on the 25th November, to hang up your poster. Pins for mounting posters will be provided at the venue (ask at registration desk). Keep your poster up until the end of the second poster session (18:30, 26th November). You can take your poster down anytime thereafter and until the end of the meeting. When should I be at my poster? Depends… November 25th 17:00-18:00 if the last digit of your poster number* is odd (e.g. S1P1, S1P3, S2P1,…) November 26th 17:30-18:30 if the last digit of your poster number* is even (e.g. S1P2, S1P4, S2P2,…) You are of course very welcome to be at your poster both days during the above times.
