Hi Kareem, This is Li — we met in Rome at IIT and later in Changchun in June, if you remember. Thank you very much for the information. I would really like to come to Berlin this time. However, I am currently in the process of renewing my residence permit, which I need in order to re-enter Italy. This morning I went to the immigration office to check the status, and they told me that I should receive the new card by November 20. In principle, this means I should be able to travel to Berlin and return to Rome, but there is still some uncertainty due to possible administrative delays (especially in Italy...). So, may I ask if it would be possible for me to register after November 20, once I have the permit card in hand? I just want to avoid any complications with reimbursement if I register but end up being unable to travel. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience and thank you in advance for your understanding and help.
