Dear participant of BioBrillouin 2025 meeting!

We all very much look forward to seeing you next week. Below is some final information. As always, if you have any specific questions do not hesitate to contact us at soc25@biobrillouin.org

The schedule for the meeting is here: https://www.biobrillouin25.com/program

A formal program with abstracts etc. will be made available electronically by Monday 24th and you will receive a separate email with link.

START:

The meeting starts at 9:15am on 25th November. BUT you should show up ideally at around 8:45am to collect your badge etc. We are expecting around 100 people. So, while we will try and have enough people at registration desk, we can probably not deal with 100 people showing up at 9:14am.

DURING MEETING:

All coffee/snacks, lunches and dinners during course of meeting are covered in your registration.

All lunches and the dinner on 26th November will be on site (i.e. at Harnack Haus).

The Gala dinner on the 25th November will be at a place called BRLO:

https://www.brlo.de/gastronomien/brlo-brwhouse#map

Drinks there will be served at 6:30pm and dinner at 7pm

This is an up to 30min travel distance from venue. The poster session on the 25th Nov ends at 6pm, so we recommend that everyone makes their way straight after to this venue. There will be a large delegation doing this so if you just stick around the poster area we’ll round you up and you don’t have to think about or plan anything.

More information pertaining to logistics will be presented at meeting.

END OF MEETING:

Be sure to stick around until the end if at all possible. We will be awarding the Jochen Guck Prize as well as the best poster prize. We will also be announcing the location of the next BioBrillouin meeting.

A few more notes:

If you have an oral presentation, please check in with the registration desk or the chair at the podium prior to your session (earlier the better). If you have a poster presentation you should have received an email with instructions (if not contact soc25@biobrillouin.org)

We wish you safe travels and look forward to seeing you very soon!
