But below some info Our IT/finance does not support Stripe… but they do have something that allows for credit card payments into account 😊 (so as good as). They are currently setting up and am rushing them as much as possible to have ready asap. I insisted that they have ready by 1st October, but incase it takes them a bit longer, I suggest we open registration, with bank transfer (IBAN) on 1st October and then add this feature when ready (it’s all we can do). We will also bill sponsors then (they prob even prefer bank transfer). To discuss (again) is agreement on registration fees 300 EUR students and 400 EUR all else. Is this too low (?) – had some people suggesting. At moment we can still agree on different number, once registration is open we obviously can’t. To discuss also is exactly how registration page will look (what options and what we will ask for). For example some people (like here at our Uni) need invoices in very special format (with project numbers included in special places etc.), so we want to get this right the first time and have place people enter their preferences. I have admin staff that will help issue invoices and will set up meeting with Robert to also help oversee and make sure books are balanced etc.. Soon as society is approved by police (should be in weeks) we will also have ability to open online account and do stripe and everything will be easy (but that’s realistically for next years meeting at this point). Also please remember to fill in doodle for availability for meeting on 13th or 14th to discuss/assemble program. I will send out detail of how to rank abstracts etc. closer to date.
