Yes, registration goes to an internal acct. at Medizinische Universitaet designated exclusively to meeting (which Robert, Anastasia and myself are keeping a close eye on), since own independent society acct could not be opened in time. Any excess after meeting expenses will then be transferred to society account (to be used for next meeting, society eventy,..).
Yes it is a mistake! We were also very confused about this 999 EUR that showed up in your payment, and wondering first if it was maybe a typo by our admin or really charged (since system – set up by our University IT -- should only be able to charge 300 or 400 EUR, as selected by user). 999 isn’t even a multiple of these, so it is quite baffling.
Anastasia inquired about this earlier this week.
(@Anastasia: did you hear anything back from Finance Dept.? I believe this is only incident of non 300/400 payment by registered participant from what I can see?)
It goes without saying we will refund the excessive amount & issue receipt asap!

In this case the credit card transaction I see is 999 euros. Is that a mistake?
