Re: [EXTERN] 9th International BioBrillouin Conference | November 2025 - Poster
Dear Stephanie, Just a couple of other quick suggestions on poster. It looks really nice! __ but I might propose the following.. - It would be good to also include web address explicitly (www.biobrillouin25.com ) on poster - with hyperlink in pdf. Since if distributed electronically also, scanning a QR code from computer screen is undesirable (also fail safe if people do not have smart phone with camera handy). -The file size of pdf should be <1Mb. There are no high res images that warrant 10Mb, and while I don't mind, some people might get annoyed getting sizable file attachments. -Might be idea to mention venue? - maybe a sentence describing scope of conference, something standard along the lines of "Annual meeting of the International BioBrillouin Society for Brillouin Light Scattering micro-spectroscopy in life-science and biomedical research and applications" or the like under heading or where ever aesthetically pleasing. Am just thinking if this poster is broadly distributed in microscopy and biophysics community, they may need some more context to understand what it is about __ - The Medical University of Vienna may also provide some admin and financial support. I should know more about this end of week or start of next, but in this case a criteria for them would be that their logo is featured somewhere also on poster. Can always add later, shouldn't be bottleneck for getting out, and will keep you posted on this front. Maybe I misunderstand, would Optica then not serve as a Silver/Gold/Platinum sponsor but something else? (if so, what would they potentially offer and want in return?) Iâ•˙ve gone through it carefully, but Iâ•˙d appreciate it if you could give it a quick glance and let me know if you spot any typos or mistakes, or any design issues. Iâ•˙ll fix them, and we can add Optica if that works out. Thanks so much! Hi Kareem, I’ve implemented all your suggestions and already added the logo from the Medical University of Vienna. Once you give me the go, I’ll pass everything on to our PR team for distribution on the social media channels. Just let me know! All the best, Stephanie On 14.08.25 00:31, Kareem Elsayad wrote:
