DRAFT: Registration open for 9th International BioBrillouin Meeting
As discussed, below is email I would ideally like to send out by end of tomorrow (to info@biobrillouin.org). We should also send out to all people who submitted abstracts (as we promised we’d tell them). @Michael by end of tomorrow could you send me email addresses of those that submitted abstracts so I can be sure to include on bcc before I send out (if they are not already on mailing list)? I asked our IT to fix a few things in registration form that they made some mistakes on, but hope they will be able to by end of tomorrow once I also fix all the links. So realistically will send this out in evening. Please let me know of any suggested changes. The last sentence is more so that we can get early as possible estimate of actual head count as this will affect pricing for event. If there are any special persons you would like me to put in bcc please let me know. Also please copy paste or take parts of this to forward to mailing lists/networks you think might be interested. Will also after I send out ask Caterina to post similar text on linkedin, X & Bluesky. Kareem Dear All, Registration is now officially open for the 9th International BioBrillouin Meeting. To register visit the official meeting website (www.biobrillouin25.com) and follow the respective links or go directly to: www.biobrillouin.com/register Registration includes full access to all sessions in the meeting, all lunches during the conference, and dinners on two of the conference days (one at venue and also the banquet dinner at a nice restaurant in Berlin). Registration payments are possible via all major Credit Cards as well as direct bank transfer. Have not submitted an abstract yet but still want to? We will keep the portal open and be accepting late abstracts up until 00:00 CET 10th October. Note: If you submit an abstract, you still need to separately register. Please be sure to register as soon as possible, as we may have to cap when we reach capacity for the venue (due to safety regulations). All the best, Kareem On behalf of the Scientific Organizing Committee: Jochen Guck - Local Conference Chair (Max Planck Inst. for the Science of Light & MPZ für Physik und Medizin, Germany) Kareem Elsayad (Medical University of Vienna, Austria) Robert Prevedel (European Molecular Biology Laboratory - EMBL, Germany) Francesca Palombo (Exeter University, United Kingdom) Stephanie Möllmert (Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, Germany) Michael Monaghan (Trinity College Dublin, Ireland) Thorsten Hamann (Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway) Questions pertaining to the meeting should be addressed to: SOC25@biobrillouin.org
