In hindsight, there should have been an option to opt out of the email addresses being shared with vendors. (we took the wording for what they get for sponsorship packages from there 😊) Now, we -- to my knowledge -- have no real “ok” to share email addresses of attendee’s (so if we do we would have to ask them again). My suggestion would be to tell this person at CREST we will just share names of people attending (not email addresses). The wording we have in sponsor packages is: “electronic delegate list supplied post congress” (i.e. no explicit mention of email addresses). This we can put online anyway, (e.g. as part of program, so it’s actually not really any special feature), but we are also not breaking any promise (we are giving them electronic delegate list). What are your takes?
