Abstract for your talk at BioBrillouin 2025
Dear Keynote Speakers: We are currently assembling program/abstract book. While we have received all your talk titles we are still missing several abstracts, which we would ideally like to include (so that abstract book doesn’t have holes in it). If you have not already submitted an abstract could you please send us an abstract for your talk before Sunday noon to this email address: soc25@biobrillouin.org . If you have already supplied an abstract, please ignore this email. Ideally, enter abstract in the provided template you can download under “Download Abstract Template” here: https://www.biobrillouin25.com/abstract-submission, and send as .docx file. This would be easiest for us, as we then can include as is into program/abstract book. You can as you wish ignore/remove/edit sub-headings (“Methods”, “Results”, etc.) and have as single block-text. If this is not feasible, please just send as in-text in email to above address, stating also the precise wording of your affiliation(s) how you would like it/them to appear (we cannot change this later). There are no specific requirements regarding length of abstract, as long as it can comfortably/elegantly fit on A4 page 😊 (see template above). Thanks, all the best & see you soon, Kareem On behalf of the Scientific Organizing Committee: Jochen Guck - Local Conference Chair (Max Planck Inst. for the Science of Light & MPZ für Physik und Medizin, Germany) Kareem Elsayad (Medical University of Vienna, Austria) Robert Prevedel (European Molecular Biology Laboratory - EMBL, Germany) Francesca Palombo (Exeter University, United Kingdom) Stephanie Möllmert (Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, Germany) Michael Monaghan (Trinity College Dublin, Ireland) Thorsten Hamann (Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway) Questions pertaining to the meeting should be addressed to: SOC25@biobrillouin.org

Dear Kareem, I’ll manage to do it, but I am not sure I can complete it for Sunday noon and it may be more in the afternoon (anyway it will be very brief). I’m having the PhD defense of my student Yuting (present in Changchun), with visiting experts, and tomorrow I must join a funeral in my wife’s family which is a bit distant. I can start to address it only this Sunday morning. Thank you for your organisation and see you next week! Dear Kareem, I am so sorry for the very late submission of my abstract, I have received none of your emails as they all went straight to my spam folder. I am attaching the abstract now, with my sincere apologies! Looking forward to meeting you on Wednesday.
